The 2025 Carcassonne Wine Festival returns on Thursday, October 16, and Friday, October 17, for a new edition dedicated to sharing and solidarity. After the fires that deeply affected our region last summer, this event takes on a particularly meaningful tone.
This year, we pay tribute to the winemakers of Aude — true guardians of our heritage — who continue their work with courage and passion. Their commitment and expertise deserve to be celebrated more than ever, so let’s raise our glasses in their honor!
Initiated by the City of Carcassonne, in collaboration with the Aude Chamber of Agriculture, the Wine Festival has become the major oenological and gastronomic event of the autumn season.
It highlights the richness of Languedoc and Aude wines — AOC Cabardès, Minervois, Corbières, Malepère, as well as IGP Pays d’Oc — true symbols of our terroir and our winemaking expertise. It is also a wonderful opportunity for visitors to meet local producers and artisans, discover wine tourism in Carcassonne, and taste products from the Aude region in a warm and authentic atmosphere.
For two days, Place Carnot, in the heart of the Bastide Saint-Louis, will come alive to the rhythm of the 2025 Carcassonne Wine Festival. From 6 p.m. to midnight, more than thirty stands of winemakers, wine merchants, and local producers will offer tastings, gourmet plates, and regional specialties in a festive and welcoming setting.
Each evening will feature lively entertainment with brass bands, music groups, and DJ sets — a joyful blend of celebration, discovery, and conviviality!
The opening of the Wine Festival will take place on Thursday, October 16, at 6:30 p.m., followed by an official welcome drink offered to all attendees.
