Discover the Bastide Saint-Louis and the Medieval City of Carcassonne in a fun and educational way with different Treasure Hunts offered by the Carcassonne Tourist Office. All our boxes are eco-friendly, made in France on recycled paper from ecologically managed forests. Objects are made of wood and fabric (bamboo pen, Carcassonne personalised wooden dominoes, a ribbon in the colours of Carcassonne…). Each box gives you the right to ONE small gift.
Like King Arthur, Dame Carcas, the famous ruler of the city, also wants to form a secret order to help and advise her and ensure the peace of the city.
To do this, she has concocted a series of riddles that you will have to solve to discover the secret motto and become part of the secret assembly of Dame Carcas.
Dame Carcas is transformed into a statue of salt by a strong-willed fairy. With the help of the spirits of the Bastide, help her regain her human form and become a hero!
Dame Carcas has a secret to make life easier for her. Today she shares it with you. Every year, in spring, 7 crystal hens come down from the sky to hide magical eggs in the city.
According to the legend, whoever finds them will be able to open the enchanted henhouse and see his or her dearest wish come true.
