Let’s meet at the Boulevard Commandant Roumens

Every Saturday morning

This pleasant market where it is good to stroll through the alleys of colourful stalls offers you organic, local and labelled fruit and vegetables, some cheeses, sausages and also a range of clothes of all kinds.

A moment of conviviality in Carcassonne and (re)discovery of quality products offered by local market gardeners. Don’t hesitate to stroll through the streets of the Bastide Saint-Louis at the end of your market to discover the shops in the town centre.

Let’s meet at the Place Carnot

Every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday morning

A real moment of atmosphere and Occitan life in the heart of the Bastide Saint-Louis of Carcassonne. On Saturdays, the Place Carnot is transformed into a market of local and organic producers to offer you products in addition to the market on the boulevard Commandant Roumens.

And after your market, don’t hesitate to sit down at one of the cafés on the square to watch the magnificent Neptune Fountain.

The Prosper Montagné Halles

Every morning from Tuesday to Saturday

The shopkeepers of the Halles Prosper Montagné welcome you to this covered market in the town centre with fresh products from the region.  Butchers, pork butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers and poulterers offer you products of quality in this convivial place.

This historic building dating from the 17th and 19th centuries, where a good atmosphere reigns and where people like to sit at the counter to tell each other the latest news from Carcassonne and sometimes even sing a song, was named in honour of the master chef from Carcassonne, author of the first Larousse gastronomic dictionary in 1938 as well as of the Festin Occitan.
