Yuri Buenaventura is back in Carcassonne for Feria 2026! The master of Colombian salsa is getting ready to give you another exceptional evening at Campo Chénier!

Yuri Buenaventura, the renowned Colombian musician best known for his magnificent cover of “Ne me quitte pas”, released his latest album, “Amame”, in 2024, produced by Vivienne Music Label. The album is described by the artist as “a musical dream, a tribute to New York Latin music”, blending pop melodies with urban percussion and brass arrangements, brought to life through the collaboration of virtuoso musicians gathered for the project: a Colombian New York-based pianist, a Cuban New York-based bassist, a Spanish New York-based trombonist, and more.

Through this 10-track album, written and composed by the artist himself, Yuri Buenaventura pays tribute to the great New York Latino musicians who have been a true source of inspiration for him. Salsa was born there, between Brooklyn and Harlem, at the crossroads of brass instruments and the poetry of jazz! Music makes our emotions dance and sets our hearts vibrating. With “Aquí llegamos”, his first single from the album, the artist also seeks to preserve a memory: it is an anthem to men who stand tall, to all those around the world who face life with dignity. This is also an opportunity to see the Boss of Salsa live once again, first discovered by French audiences in 1996, to immerse yourself in his refined and sometimes melancholic universe, and to discover the songs from his new album “Amame”.
