This ancient 17th-century property was purchased in 1998 by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her 2 sons. Some major renovation work has been carried out in the vineyard and in the production cellars.
With the winery’s thermostatically controlled vats and its barrel cellar, where the wine can develop and mature directly in the barrel, the Domaine boasts all the facilities needed to produce great wines.
Each wine has its own unique profile. That is the Domaine’s concept of wine. The Grand Vin Rouge is a blend of strength and finesse, while the Grand Vin Blanc, on the other hand, combines freshness and lightness. As for La Capitelle, this wine offers a subtly balanced bouquet of fruit and spice.
