The Carcassonne Municipal Tourist Office has been awarded the Quality Tourism and Category 1 label. It has 13 employees whose missions are: to welcome and inform visitors, to animate the area with workshops and educational activities, to market tours and to promote the destination to three target audiences: leisure, business and school groups.
Carcassonne’s membership of the Network of Great Sites of France enables it to take an active part in a national collective reflection on the protection and management of sites and landscapes.
