History tour of the Citadel. Starting point is the Porte Narbonnaise. You will discover a picturesque route, the entire defensive system of the Citadel of Carcassonne, which is listed as a World Heritage site: 52 towers - all different - watch towers, posterns, 'bretèche' and 'machicolations' (defensive constructions)... a surprising tour, with remarkable commentary, that you'll remember for a long time.
