Everyone knows or has heard of Bérenger Saunière. He is associated with Rennes-le-Château in everyone’s mind, but do you know why?
Rennes-le-Château, a village in the Aude region, is 45 km south of Carcassonne. The village is known throughout the world thanks to its priest, Abbot François Bérenger Saunière who left the village with many constructions and enigmas. His enigmas still inspire authors and researchers from around the world.
