UNDER THE SHADE OF THE CANAL DU MIDI

This small section of the Canal du Midi will take you to discover other natural landscapes in a bucolic and peaceful environment.
Cross the Marengo bridge in the direction of the station, then follow the road on the left-hand side along the banks of the Canal. Continue along the Canal promenade and then the Avenue Pierre Sémard until you reach the Pôle Emploi. Continue along the towpath. Pass four locks and a watering place: Epanchoir de Foucaud (Mediterranean plant conservatory), écluse de la Douce, écluse d'Herminis, écluse de Lalande and écluse de Villesèque. At Sauzens, be careful when crossing the D33. Return by the same route.
