ATTENTION (update 2/09/2025):
A major fire broke out in early August 2025 in the Corbières area and around Lagrasse.
This route was not affected, but vigilance and mobilization are still required.
The 'South' route from Carcassonne to Béziers via Lagrasse and the Abbaye de Fontfroide also remains passable, but the landscape in the Lagrasse area was severely affected by the fires.
