Situated on the heights of Carcassonne in the hamlet of Montlegun, halfway between Carcassonne and Lac de la Cavayère, Villa Prélude offers an unforgettable place to rest, relax and explore the town. Starting from the gîte, you can enjoy a 4 km hiking trail with several must-see stops: the Arboretum, with its panoramic view of the medieval town and the whole town, and then down to the ramparts of the medieval town, before exploring the historic centre of the Bastide via the banks of the River Aude. Lac de la Cavayère is just 5 minutes away, where you can enjoy an idyllic setting and a range of activities and entertainment. Villa Prélude has grounds containing the owners' communal swimming pool (10 x 5 x 1.40) where you can cool off and relax on a sun lounger. The wellness area with a spa and sauna is available at an additional cost of €10
