Car<\/h3><p>Arrive early as parking fills up quickly. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tourisme-carcassonne.fr\/en\/useful\/parking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer external\">See the city&#8217;s parking options<\/a>.From the Medieval City, walk down to the city center to watch the fireworks from the banks of the Aude or the bridges.\u00a0Some streets and parking lots will be closed.\u00a0The Old Bridge (Pont Vieux) will be inaccessible for safety reasons.<\/p><h3>By Train<\/h3><p>Just like last year, special trains will be available to take you to the Illumination of the Medieval City.<\/p><ul><li>From Toulouse: 2 trains (5:00 PM and 5:58 PM) with stops in Villefranche-de-Lauragais (5:24 PM and 6:18 PM) and Castelnaudary (5:37 PM and 6:31 PM).<\/li><li>From Narbonne:
