Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trail runner, there is a race for every level. Created in 2015, the Grand Raid des Cathares held its twelfth edition on October 22, 23 and 24, 2026, starting from Carcassonne. The Trail des Colombes is a medieval nature trail race covering 41 km with 1,300 m of elevation gain. The start will take place at the Narbonne Gate of the medieval city of Carcassonne on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., with the finish line located at the Dome. Heading towards Lake Cavay\u00e8re, the course offers magnificent landscapes of the region.
