This full-length album unfolds like a road movie through the inner turmoil of a generation searching for meaning. Timeless in its approach, their music serves up Pop choruses that will stay stuck in your head all evening. On stage, their sound comes to life in an atmosphere reminiscent of a lively living room filled with tinkered-with vintage radio sets and kerosene lamps. You may well have crossed paths with them during one of their 140 shows across France and Spain, perhaps when they opened for Sting at Guitare en Sc\u00e8ne, or at venues such as La Boule Noire, Le Bikini, Paloma or Le Moloco, sharing the bill with Kokomo. Along the way, they have brought on board Philippe Berteaux (manager), Odeva (publisher) and Muzivox (booking agent). Their authenticity goes far beyond the stage. The band is currently recording this debut album with their own hands, using homemade instruments: guitars, bass, keyboards, effects pedals and amplifiers. They are also taking charge of the mix and artwork. After much thought, they decided that \u201cit\u2019s better off this way\u201d. The result is an even more genuine and contemporary soundtrack. Because, much like Greta Van Fleet, Blues Pills and Rival Sons, Damantra isn't trying to recreate a bygone era.
