Permanent exhibition "Four Centuries of History. The House of a Hundred Windows". This exhibition particularly addresses the heritage history of the building, as well as that of its owners and tenants. All social conditions intersected with the rhythm of small and large events that crossed Carcassonne and its region.

"It was during one of the most prosperous economic periods of Carcassonne's life that the 'House of a Hundred Windows' was born, about 400 years ago. The drapery industry and its trade were then in full expansion. Like many other private mansions in the Saint-Louis bastide, its inhabitants were numerous and of all conditions. In the 19th century, the building had the privilege of housing the 'Cercle du Salon' for nearly 100 years, where some intellectuals already gathered."
